Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This only got one star because yelp made me give at least one. I took one bite of the teriyaki beef and truly thought it wasn't beef at all. It's a huge piece And too soft to be beef. It honestly looks like a half a rat pounded out flat and stuck on a stick. The chicken fingers have a odd taste and the egg rolls have these weird clumps in them that I can't identify. The sweet and sour sauce taste like it was cooked with everything else in one pot, and the wonton strips had this same weird smell, taste, and of course were stale. I asked for the egg drop and wonton mix soup and received only egg drop. To top it off the spare ribs had no meat on them. Literally, I received two bones soaked in BBQ sauce. It took $21 and an hour to waste of my money and time. I will never, ever eat here again. Advice to the restaurant, clean your kitchen and then close down.

After they change ownership....the food is no longer good. They used spaghetti for loMein....that is just uncalled for

I love their food! I am picky about taste and alot of chinese food I have eaten is pretty bland but this place is very tasty. It is very small not much room to eat in. Best for take out.

Placed an order on grub hub. They didn't want to swap items that were the same price but we're quick to call me back a second time to let me know things that I ordered weren't available and offered less costly substitutes. Ordered spicy chicken and got less sauce on the chicken than I've ever seen. Will scour the area for better options.

As part of my search for a reliable Chinese restaurant, I visited May Wah for lunch based on a random review saying that the food was pretty decent for a take-out joint. To keep it simple, I ordered shrimp with Chinese veg and shrimp fried rice. The shrimp with Chinese veg was an inedible mess with 5 pieces of shrimp and lots of chopped up bok choy in an oily cornstarch-based white sauce (which btw leaked due to the inadequate packaging, and in turn caused the flimsy brown paper bag in which my order was contained to rip apart). I was about to curse ever reading about this place, but then I tried the fried rice. Yeah I've had better, but this one was pretty darn good. And despite the over-all poor impression I just may venture back for more of it. The two-stars are for the fried rice only. Also, as an aside, I don't know, maybe it's a SoFL thing, but don't advertise "Chinese veg" if the only veg you're serving is bok choy. I realize bok choy may be Chinese in origin, but then they should've called it "shrimp with bok choy" and not "vegetables" as the "s" in "vegetables would indicate that there'd be more than one type of vegetable in the dish.

Love this place, close to work and fair time for turn around. I eat vegetable soup and green stuff.
